There must be lots of photos of Striders (and friends) in action on various social sites. I found Dave Pinnington's photos on Flickr - I think he's a professional snapper and tends to visit all the local NW and Liverpool races. His photostream is at: www.flickr.com/photos/davepinno/sets/Most recent set is of the Clarke Gardens XC. Lots of Striders are pictured, but not many of them are smiling for the camera. Wonder why? Anyone else know of good places to see photos from local races? I'm still looking for 1 of me looking like an athlete.

Pinno (Penny Lane Striders) will be well pleased with you thinking he may be a professional . He is a mate of mine so I can call him a good amateur .Mick Hall covers lots of races including ours . UKResults has links to pics . I have looked at mine www.flickr.com/photos/mickcharman but I can't find any of you. Do you race much Dobby? or are you so fast my shutter speed can't catch you.

www.runningpix.co.uk/ has a good selection. He was at the Preston 10 and seems to do Fell and XC stuff too.

Steve Bateson of Running Pix takes some good photos. He's a member of Rossendale Harriers and was a very good runner in his youth.
He can still move a bit- I remember doing the Boxing Day Whinberry Naze fell race a few years ago. Steve was laden with walking boots, big rucsac and camera with long lens. He was running at a mean pace across the fell to get ahead of me to take a photo!
